What's New on the 2020 INFINITI QX60

The 2020 INFINITI QX60 receives no significant changes for the year. However, the INFINITI QX60 continues to offer the same great features as the previous model. The INFINITI QX60 is available in two trim levels: Pure and Luxe. As far as engine option goes, you receive one: a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 295 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The engine comes paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission.

Both the Pure and Luxe trims come with a variety of features. The Pure gets you tri-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, simulated-leather upholstery, a sunroof, Bluetooth®*, xenon headlights, blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, an 8-inch central touchscreen display, heated front seats, a 60/40-split folding second row, keyless entry and ignition, a power liftgate, a 50/50-split folding third row, power-adjustable seats, and more. The Luxe trim level adds driver-seat memory settings, remote engine start, roof rails, and a 13-speaker audio system.

History of the QX60

While it debuted as the JX35 in 2013, INFINITI chose to reimagine their crossover as the QX60 for the following year. While the updated name reflected a full rebranding across INFINITI's lineup, the maker took the opportunity to upgrade their vehicles' offerings.

The 2014 SUV arrived on American roadways with an astounding list of high-tech features and deluxe amenities. standard features included tri-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, and much more. It also carried passengers with a capable 265-horsepower V6 engine and a continuously variable transmission. In 2016, the QX60 received a timely refresh to its exterior, plus new suspension. The next year, it received an upgraded standard engine.

While the JX35 initially released as a premium seven-seater, the QX60 expanded on its aptitude as a family vehicle with a variety of safety features over the years that followed. By 2019, The SUV offered available driver assistance tools like lane departure warning and a surround-view camera.
